mission
Studying music in undergrad was a difficult experience for me. I struggled to maintain my independence, creativity, and confidence amidst the perpetual critique of my music teachers and the intense competition of my peers. Don’t get me wrong, I expected music school to be tough, but I would be lying if I said it didn’t burn me out in the end. I lost my momentum and fell into a period of doubt and depression.
The good news is that I fought through it with the help and encouragement of my family, friends, and mentors. They saw the light at the end of the tunnel when I didn’t, and that made all the difference.

The purpose of this project is to have a space for collegiate artists to have a conversation; one that is honest about the trials we’ve been through, and hopeful for what lies ahead.
