      Hi friends!

Here's a little bit about me, in case you're wondering: I will graduate this spring from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with my bachelor's degree in Violin Performance, along with a Minor in Writing from the Sweetland Center for Writing. I grew up in Milwaukee, WI, where I was a member of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Senior Symphony for four years.

Throughout high school, I competed a lot on my violin. I know what it's like to try, and try again, over and over.

One of the highlights of my life so far has been receiving an Emerson Scholarship (full scholarship) to the 2012 Interlochen Summer Arts Camp, where I was a member of the World Youth Symphony Orchestra. This experience changed my life and showed me the impact that music can make on society. Additionally, I have attended the Green Lake Chamber Music Camp in Wisconsin, the Luzerne Music Festival in New York, and the Aspen Music Festival and School in Colorado.

I look forward to a future which I hope will combine my love of music, writing, and administration in the arts.
